Dr. Kathy Landau Goodman received her Doctorate degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University. She received her Masters degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Kathy Landau Goodman is a Fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Landau Goodman is co-founder of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and was their first vice president of Professional Issues. She served two terms (1993-1999) on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She is Chair of the Audiology Awareness Campaign since 1994, which is a national collaborative effort of national Audiology organizations to educate the public about the value of hearing care. Dr. Landau Goodman is the Audiology Consultant to the U.S. Department of Labor and the School District of Philadelphia. Dr. Landau Goodman is also a frequent lecturer and has presented many papers at professional conventions and meetings.

Dr. Goodman has received numerous awards including:

Audiologist

Dr. Harrington received his Doctoral degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Services – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his Masters degree in Audiology from Bloomsburg University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Lafayette College. He is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Harrington is a licensed Audiologist in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Harrington has been providing excellence in hearing care at MLAC since 2002.

Audiologist

Dr. Franciotti attended St. John’s University in Queens, New York where she received her Doctor of Audiology Degree. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at St. Joseph’s College in New York. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Franciotti previously worked at the Manhattan Veteran Affairs Medical Center as well as a private practice on Long Island where she conducted diagnostic evaluations and fitting of amplification for the adult and geriatric population. She maintains her clinical expertise by attending continuing education trainings on the latest technological and diagnostic innovations in the field of audiology.

Audiologist

Dr. Lara Liebmann grew up in New York City and pursued an undergraduate career in Psychology at Brandeis University. She first learned about the intricacies of the auditory system through one of her first neuroscience classes. The fascination with the perception of sound combined with a lifelong passion to help people was the driving force that led her to study audiology. Dr. Liebmann then received her Doctorate of Audiology from Northwestern University.

Dr. Liebmann is a licensed audiologist in the state of Pennsylvania and currently holds membership with the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Liebmann’s specialty includes hearing diagnostic evaluations and hearing technology consultations for both adolescent and adult age populations.

In addition to seeing patients in multiple MLAC offices and facilities, Dr. Liebmann also serves the community as an Educational Audiologist for the School District of Philadelphia. In this role, she assists school-aged children with any audiologic needs as well as collaborates with hearing itinerants and teachers to create optimal listening environments for these students.

Dr. Liebmann currently resides near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia and enjoys practicing yoga, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Shea attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, where he received his Doctor of Audiology degree. He also received his Master of Arts in Audiology and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency at the Pittsburgh Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, where he conducted diagnostic hearing evaluations and fit hearing devices for adult and geriatric populations. He is very excited to be a part of the Main Line Audiology Consultants team, where he is able to help improve the lives of others by helping them communicate with their friends and family again.

Dr. Michaila Hatty, Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Michaila Hatty was born and raised in South Philadelphia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Dr. Hatty was a member of Washington College’s women’s basketball team and was also a Student Athlete Mentor. She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. During her time at Salus University Dr. Hatty was a student mentor and the president of the Student Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Hatty completed her residency at University Physicians of Brooklyn/NY Audio Associates in Brooklyn, New York where she cared for patients of all ages via a multidisciplinary team made up of physicians, audiologists, and nurses. During her residency, Dr. Hatty acquired experience in multiple areas of the field of audiology but her favorite part of her job was helping her patients hear better through proper fitting of hearing aids.

Dr. Hatty is a licensed audiologist in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the American Academy of Audiology. During her free time, she likes spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, and traveling.

Audiologist

Dr. Haungs received her doctoral degree in audiology from Salus University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and completed her undergraduate at Purdue University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology and Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology. In her free time she enjoys scuba diving and horseback riding.

Audiologist

Dr. Luba earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi. She is a licensed Audiologist in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Luba has experience working with patients of all ages, ranging from infants to geriatrics. In her spare time, Dr. Luba enjoys cross stitching, hiking, traveling, cooking Polish food, and visiting national parks.
